Julia considers the Town of LaSalle her second home, where she feels a strong connection. Her passion for the Body Positivity Movement drives her to spread the message that all bodies are beautiful. Despite graduating during the pandemic, she earned an Ontario Diploma in Public Relations from St. Clair College, showcasing her practical communication skills.In 2019, Julia started participating in pageants, including the Erie Street Miss Via Italia and the Miss Universe Canada Southwestern Ontario Pageant. Pageantry gave her a platform to discuss her primary focus: body positivity. She aims to raise awareness and help people embrace their bodies while promoting self-love. Julia’s commitment to this cause led her to strongly support BANA, the Bulimia Anorexia Nervosa Association in Windsor, which advocates for diverse body shapes and sizes through a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Although Julia is dedicated to promoting mental health in Windsor and Essex County through the nonprofit Evolve, BANA holds a special place in her heart. As Miss LaSalle 2023, she intends to continue supporting BANA’s mission through fundraising initiatives and social media campaigns. Julia aspires to be a positive role model for all individuals, regardless of background, and remain active in her community. After all, putting yourself first is the best kind of love.
