“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” For Cephra, this quote can be related back to pageantry and highlights the importance of growth in our lives. By participating in her second pageant, Cephra believes growth that takes us outside of our comfort zone has the potential to open doors to new passions and experiences.

Cephra is a Business Marketing graduate and part-time business owner at Charm’s Bar & Café, a Jamaican-Asian fusion style establishment in Leamington, Ontario. As a young entrepreneur, she aims to continue to share her passion to promote cultural diversity in the community and share her support for women in business.

In her spare time she enjoys learning new things through building connections in the world around her, especially through her love of writing and studying foreign languages. Cephra also enjoys working out regularly and promotes fitness and healthy living.

Cephra is a strong Youth Advocate and hopes to assist The Bridge Youth Resource Centre in promoting development for local youth in all areas of life such as education, mental health, housing, employment, relationships and beyond. She strives to use her personal experiences to support younger people navigate through the difficult trials and circumstances that life tends to bring. Cephra believes that investing into the younger generation and highlighting their unique potential is essential for building better communities and a brighter future.
