Rebecca Drouin is a 20 year-old who was born and raised in Windsor-Essex. Throughout her childhood she had the pleasure of experiencing the beautiful town of Lasalle while living at her grandmother’s house for several years. Rebecca is currently an aspiring real estate agent working towards receiving her license in the next upcoming months, she has always been someone who wants to see people’s dreams and visions come to life! “ If selling someone their dream house puts a smile on their face, that’s the true beauty of the job” she says.Philanthropy and community engagement has become an integral part of Rebecca’s life’s purpose, from a young age she knew she wanted to give back to those within her community and make a meaningful impact in the world around her. Pageantry took that passion of hers to the next level. Having previously won a local title, Rebecca has been able to provide and become a role model for the youth within the community. She has continuously advocated for a non-profit organization known as the United-Way Centraide of Windsor-Essex county. Rebecca holds this organization close to her heart. Throughout her childhood she was faced with numerous hardships and access to support was not easy. Those challenges ignited a fire within her to be a guiding light and voice for change for youth in need.

Rebecca has had the opportunity to work closely alongside the United-way and was able to see first-hand the impact their support has on vulnerable children and families throughout Windsor-Essex. With her previous local title she was able to attend fundraisers, and programs, along with hosting her own fundraisers to advocate and create change within her community. Having seen the strong impact and role she was able to have on so many, Rebecca is inspired and driven to continue to have a positive influence on those around her.

Rebecca possesses a vibrant creative side and takes great pride in maintaining a healthy and positive lifestyle. Every day, she uses social media as a platform to showcase her dedication to mental and physical well-being. Recognizing the prevalence of social media today, Rebecca has made it an essential part of her routine to use it as a force for good. She consistently promotes overall wellness and shares daily habits that others can incorporate into their lives. For Rebecca, the fulfillment comes from making even the smallest positive impact or bringing a smile to someone’s face.

Pageantry has been the most transformative period in Rebecca’s life, throughout the triumphs and the challenges it has allowed Rebecca to grow and evolve into the person she is today. Learning and displaying new levels of confidence within herself she is able to project that onto the people around her. Having learned what she has within the past year, she is ready to bring a new and improved version of herself to the town of Lasalle and is ready to showcase her passions, advocacy, dedication and courage to radiate positive change within the community. A community that is united and full of positivity and love is what allows others to never give up!

Rebecca is beyond grateful to have the opportunity to further showcase her abilities and strengths to hopefully share them with the town of Lasalle as she embarks on this incredible journey being a part of the Miss Lasalle 2024 experience.
