Addison Roorda is an 18-year-old recent graduate who earned a Certificate in Pre-Health from St. Clair College this past April. Addison has a passion for serving others, which has inspired her to pursue a career in firefighting. Additionally, she harbours entrepreneurial ambitions to own her own business in the beauty industry.
Addison’s platform for the Miss LaSalle pageant is Compassion Canada, a nonprofit Christian organisation dedicated to fighting global poverty by partnering with local churches to address the urgent needs of children living in poverty. This cause is particularly close to Addison’s heart, as her family has been actively involved in sponsoring children through Compassion Canada. She is committed to advocating for their sponsor child and others like him, aligning with the organization’s values and her personal commitment to making a positive impact.
